Andrew Turbill — environmental educator, wildlife naturalist, and the north coast’s own bird guy — shares his lifetime of close observation and his belief that learning to tune in to the birds around us is one of the most profound ways we can reconnect with where we live. He is joined by Professor Kirsten Benkendorff, marine biologist and Director of the National Marine Science Centre at Southern Cross University, who brings the science of our ocean world to life in ways that are both rigorous and deeply accessible.

Speakers include Professor Kirsten Benkendorff and Dr Graham Douglas, koalas, oceans and everything in between.

All events are free, with light refreshments and a screening of the Whispers of Wilderness film.

Everyone takes home a free Whispers of Wilderness coloring book, postcards and bookmarks. Come along for a chance to win a GKNP puzzle.

This event is for Coffs Coast tourism and business operators interested in finding out about our regional Parks and Reserves including the upcoming Great Koala National Park and exploring the opportunities they provide for new and existing business growth.
